The smart and simple 816 Sound Level Meter can be used in a range of different environments and applications, from checking noise levels in a workplace to various public places.
This unit has two handy measurement modes: the slow measure, which is a sampling every second, and a fast measurement that samples every 125 milliseconds (great for instantaneous readings).
The testo 816 also has the added bonus of being able to change between two frequency modes, Curve A: which mimics the way the human ear perceives sound pressure, and Curve C which measures low frequency percentage of the sound.
